The Path to the Light
Sometimes we are at a turning point in our lives. We feel that
Something has to change. We see the light ahead of us and perhaps even know which path we want to follow.
And yet we stand still.
Out of fear of the unknown.
Out of fear of losing something.
Out of fear that a new step might change everything.
Culture symbolizes our life – light and darkness meet in it.
We carry both sides within us. The dark side can symbolize helplessness, doubt, and clinging to the familiar. Sometimes we stay in that point, even though we knew a long time ago that it was time to move on.
We see the path to light – and we don’t dare to take the first step.
But not everyone stays on it.
Some find the courage to break free from the darkness. They set out, although they don’t know what lies behind the next step. They take risks because they feel that stagnation sometimes costs more than change.
And so – on this path we can fall.
We can doubt. We can get lost.
But the fall does not mean the end.
We can always rise up.
We can find the way.
We can return to the light.
