On April 24, 2024, in space GIESSEREI – House of Sustainability in Ried im Innkreis the opening of the exhibition took place „Feelings in colors and shapes” – „Feelings in colors and forms”.
It was a unique meeting of two artistic worlds: paintings by Elisabeth Kuc and sculptures by Christopher Schlesinger. The exhibition was dedicated to emotions and feelings, and one of its most important themes was love – presented through color, form, character, and symbol.
Elisabeth Kuc presented oil paintings and texts, But Christopher Schlesinger did his own Sculptures. The event was accompanied by musical accompaniment Eberhard Reiter.

The exhibition also had a very personal dimension. Elisabeth Kuc and Christopher Schlesinger know each other personally and prepared this event together.

Two languages of art
Painting and sculpture met during the exhibition not only as two separate fields of art. Their combination allowed us to look at a common theme from two perspectives.
The color and light of the image met the material and space of the sculpture.
The relationship between the wooden sculptures by Christopher Schlesinger and the colorful paintings by Elisabeth Kuc is particularly evident in the photographs from the exhibition – they form a common composition in the space of the former foundry.

The very title of the exhibition – „Feelings in colors and forms” – he conveyed her character well.
Eli's paintings told stories of emotion through color, form, and symbol, while Christopher's sculptures utilized natural material and spatial form. Their common denominator was an attempt to show what is often difficult to express in words.
The opening took place April 24, 2024, The exhibition brought together the works of both artists in a single, distinctive space at the GIESSEREI.

Materials documenting the exhibition have been preserved to this day – poster of the event, photos of the exhibition and photos of the artists and works presented.
A special memento remains the sculpture donated by Christopher Schlesinger to Elisabeth Kuc. It is this sculpture that allows us to view this exhibition not only as an artistic event, but also as a a personal meeting of two creators who were united by friendship and a shared sensitivity towards art.
